Being Successful in College and Life What does success mean to you? Success is the ability to overcome challenges and to get to your desired outcome. Success depends on you, it is dependent only on what your desired outcome is. According to Abraham Lincoln success is expressed as “always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.” Abraham is expressing the importance of the resolution of success. I agree with Abraham there is nothing better than the resolution to succeed. To be more successful you have to make changes in your life, some of these changes are not so easy and conflict with yourself but in order to succeed there must be a change. This year I have to make some changes to myself in order to succeed. I have found studying to be directly correlated with success. Lately I have been studying much less than previously. In order to succeed in college you must study. I intend to study two hours for every one hour of lecture time. This will ensure I am doing enough to do well in said class. I plan to take clearer notes, this makes it easier to look at and picture in my head during the exam. I also plan on reading more of the textbooks and assigned …show more content…
Success is a process of changeling obstacles. In order to succeed you must overcome these obstacles. Motivation is the driving force behind success, it is the entity that makes people do things they don’t want to. Studying is key to success, there is a high correlation between studying and success. Serval studying skills such as pre-test taking and taking clearer notes can put you on course with your goals.
