My Dragon Research Paper

Dragons are beautiful and scary creatures that are told in many countless fairy tales. From big ones to small ones, they are a great challenges to overcome in fairy tales and in our daily lives. They are fierce and unpredictable animals that we are familiar with. There are many ways to face them, to coward in fear, or to face this mighty dragon of yours in your fairy tale with confidence. My dragon was a beautiful dragon. She kept me by her side, though not as a princess, but her maid. Day by day, I washed and polished her shining scales and brought my mighty dragon food every day. It was my pleasure to serve this majestic dragon even though I was just a lowly maid to her and to her princesses. Every night, I dreamt of being treated as a princess to my master and maybe one day of becoming a dragon myself. Many of my dragon’s captives have warned me to leave my dragon and start anew as my own princess, instead of staying as a maid here. They knew that my dragon would devour me in one whole piece, sooner or later. Being the ignorant me, I ignored their advice and decided to stay loyal to this beautiful dragon. A week hasn’t even passed until I realized my master’s intention of hunger to dissolve me into her stomach. One early afternoon, my master rose high above me on her two strong feet, ready to gobble me up. It wasn’t easy to escape something I have considered as a reality to me for years, but it was a challenge that helped me into finding the real me and my self-confidence that has built inside of me.
