Aside from differences in Canada’s weather and culture from mine, which I found difficult to settle with, I was unable to find job in school settings as a teacher, as Calgary Board of Education plays with different sets of rules that will not allow someone like me who had no degree in teaching, even though I had taught for almost a decade in my country where such rules do not apply to get a teaching job. Devastated and confused, I decided to pick up security job in order to be able to pay my bills which kept coming every month, while still searching for jobs that are relatively close to teaching. It was in this process I came across some groups of people to whom I narrated my ordeal

Second, other key impact of globalization is the free movement of labor. In a globalized world, workers can more easily move from one country to another to market their skills to employers and contribute to the economy. As some Canadian entrepreneurs with the purpose of domestic business to grow, those companies have to capitalize on efficiency except looking outside the company as off-shoring, yet sometimes recruit foreign workers. Canada at the turn of the twentieth century was an emerging new country eager to make life in Canada one to be envied across the world. This was not an easy task. Canada did not separate on violent terms like their neighbor to the south. They had done so on diplomatic terms which left them a country still part of the British Empire unable to handle her own foreign affairs. Though this was a success, in later years it was cause for many problems. Britain was unable to let go of her colony.
