Canada is said to be the second greatest country in the world. Living in Canada makes people feel safe. We have a great reputation with other countries. This is why we are never at war. Canada is also said to be an wonderful country because of all the beautiful things we possess. For example we are a multicultural, bilingual country, we have a health care system, we have beautiful land and most importantly we are all civil.
We have many things to be proud of in Canada. In Canada we are multicultural and respect people’s beliefs and religions. An amazing accomplishment that happened recently was letting over 25,000 Syrian Refugees into Canada. “You are safe at home now” Is a very touching saying because
that shows how much we care for other countries and how we are always looking to help everyone. We deserve to be the second best country in the world for all the little things we do. “Welcomes immigrants and celebrates diversity” is a wonderful quote that Canada has received. We should live up to it and be proud that this is the Country we live in. We have beautiful places to tour such as in Toronto. Many people come to tour the CN Tower which was the largest/tallest tower between the years 1975-2007. Hockey was invented in Canada and is one of the greatest sports in the world. “So be proud, Canada! We’re No. 2. And we’re in good company”. People think Canada isn't “cool” because no one really knows about us. We are usually never on the news because we don't face terrorist attacks or wars like other countries. Little do people know Canada has had some of the greatest accomplishments in the world such as the Olympics, writers, comedians and allowing homosexuality. If people took the time to read what Canada is about they would definitely change their mind on if we are “cool”.
As a result Canada is a beautiful country and has many things to be proud of. We are a multicultural, bilingual country, and we have the freedom of speech. Canada is a very fortunate country and everyone should be proud that they live in a safe, non-violent country. I am proud to be Canadian and would never want to live anywhere else.
