My First Day at Au
Most people’s first day at college is the most stressful day of their lives because they don’t know what to expect or they just don’t want to go through an embarrassing situation, but for me it was the most exciting day of my life. First, I met new people who shared my interests, second it was a whole new experience for me in which success depended on me, and third it was the first day that I started studying something that I really liked. Finally I won’t forget it very easily because lots of things were accomplished in my first day at AIR UNIVERSITY
First I met lots of people who were as excited as me for their first day at college. I really enjoyed that day because everybody I talked to were people who were going to Electrical Engineering with me, so we shared the same interest. My new friends and I talked a lot that day about the first things that crossed our minds, and then we exchanged our emails. In my case I tried to look for the people who were completely interested in the program, the ones that were 100% of what they were doing and that they were not going to drop out the program in afew months.
Second, for me it was an amazing experience that I had never gone through in my life. For the first time in my entire life I was studying something that I was really into of. Studying Electrical Engineering for me was the best choice because I knew that I was meant to study this. The other new thing is that succeeding depended exclusively on me; nobody was going to be pushing me to study or to prepare my homework. This new stage in my life was totally new for me and it was something that I had to get used to..
Finally, I won’t forget that day because it was one of the most special moments of my life. That day I received more things of what I had expected, I got friends.I realized that there was something that I was really good at.I have no regrets, these last few days have been the most remarkable and greatest days of my

One day, while I was laying peacefully on my bed, my mother came in with a letter from Florida A&M University. I didn't really want to speculate anything because a few days before I received a letter from another college saying that I wasn't accepted. Nevertheless I was still excited when I opened it and even more so when I read that I had been accepted. So without much hesitation I packed up and headed to Tallahassee. When I arrived my mother and I took care of registration and a plethora of things you have to manage as a new student. After all the hassles of college registration were completed my mother departed for home and I was left by myself to attend college. What a great feeling! Little did I know what I had on store for the next day, my first in college.…

I will remember that day as the day that I will use as an example of why the world needs to change. I remember that day as the moment I can remember to allow myself to cry. I will remember that day as the day I realized what the world had become. I will remember that day as the day I became angry at the world for allowing someone to do something of that sort. I will remember that day as the day I realized how hurt others must feel if I couldn't even hold myself together. I will remember that day as the day I took no pictures and didn’t write about my experience immediately after. I will remember that as the day that I took the harshness of reality in, and realized how much I yearned to change it. I will remember that day as the day that I felt more helpless than ever before. I will remember that day as the day that I sat in an empty car for ten minutes trying to control myself. I will remember that day as the day I will never forget. I will remember that day as the day that broke me, in order to make me. I will remember that day as the start of the story I will tell others when they ask why I am doing what I am doing. When I was sixteen years old I thought my first job was going to be at Mc Donald’s or some type of fast food restaurant. My mother wasn’t really the type that forced me to work at a younger age. Usually a lot of teenagers don’t work until seventeen or eighteen years old. Some times when I was a child I always wanted to be more responsible by doing things on my own, working, and driving, but at sixteen what can I be responsible at. As a young teenager I always looked at job postings. For example I would see chef jobs, office jobs and retail. Sometimes I would look at them just for the fun of it just to see what type of work that was offered in the bay area. Were I m from a lot of jobs don’t exist, and my community is so small that it didn’t create jobs for families. For example a lot of the good jobs like banks, store managers, and high end jobs were towards Oakland and San Francisco. When I was fifteen I heard about this program that helps younger teenagers find summer jobs, and it was something that sparked my interest. When I was sixteen I experienced a piece of responsibility; First I had my own job which generated my own money, second the job was very fun, finally I had a lot of responsibilities at work at a young age.…

Starting college is my second achievement; I was happy and very scared at the same time. Happy to be make the transition from high school to the new and exciting world of college and adulthood, this transition meant that I would now be taken seriously because I was no longer a child, I could now do thing I couldn't do before ( enter into clubs, drink coffee, no more curfew, etc). Scared of what was to come, no knowing if I would be able to adapt to college life and if I would able to handle all the new added responsibility. Starting college meant that I was solely responsible for my success and or failure, college work would be more than that of high school and would be strenuous.…

As a fourteen-year old actress in Los Angeles, California I was thinking that coming to a performing arts school all the way in Ohio, didn’t sound so great. I had been in movies and television. Why would I need to attend the College-Conservatory of Music at University of Cincinnati (CCM)? I was going into the Prep program which was for children from the ages of 4-18 before they started the actual college. I was going to attend there for Acting and Musical Theatre, but I already had all of this experience and wisdom. What could I possibly learn here? Furthermore, I was afraid that coming from LA, I wouldn’t know anyone because I thought everyone there had spent most of their lives participating in this camp with each other. What would they think of me coming in to this program as an outsider? Would they accept me, or as I feared, would they judge me? My first day there was the beginning of the most incredible experience of my life.…

Every student of college, in his life, at certain point, dreams about his university life. It is the dream of every student to get admission in a university of high esteem. A university with full colors of life makes a bigger share in good memories. I also thought about the same thing. After I had done my Fsc exams, I appeared in entrance tests of different universities. I got admission in few of them and my final decision was for Air University for its emerging repute. So after admission procedure I was called for orientation on 3rd of September. I made arrangement for a hostel with my school friend who also got admission in the same institute. We reached Islamabad on the 2nd September. Next day we woke up early in the morning at 8am and prepared for the orientation. The University was located near Shaheen Chowk in Islamabad. It was a state of the art structure. Its first glimpse was fascinating. We were directed to main hall by well mannered staff of university. Before entering the hall we were provided student ID cards that showed us the efficiency of their staff. Orientation started on scheduled time. In the beginning we were addressed about academic years and some semester related terms. After that we were explained in detail about the rules and regulations that were to be strictly followed within the premises of the university. We found that the university was very strict about discipline and that the ones not abiding by the rules were to face the music. Followed by this was a detailed presentation given to us about the academic structure and administrative measures of university by our Head of Department, Mr. Dr. Basharat ullah Malik. He altered his way of speech and took the discussion towards a lighter side by cracking some decent jokes. Then we were informed about our class rooms and labs. We were gathered for an introductory trip. We were satisfied after the introductory session about the university. After that we were…
