my goals in life

My Goals in Life There are so many things in life that I want. We all need money to buy the things we want. We all need a place to live, a car to drive, and a job to get it all. While growing up, I have always been told that I need to go to college to get the things I want. I would have to find a career to make all of my dreams come true. It is not like we all get a genie with three wishes, giving us what we want out of life. I wish it were that easy. My entire life, while growing up, we have to rely on our parents for the things we need. We reach out to our family for advice, money, and the desired item of the day. We rely on them to help us get our license, then our first car, and car insurance. College for me, leads to freedom, to adulthood. Every day, I learn more and more to rely on myself and becoming the man that I am meant to be. The one thing that no one tell you is college is hard work. The courses can be a lot of work. It is definitely not High School anymore. I like to spend time with my friends. I also have a part time job. The time I have left, I have to put a lot of time into studying and homework to keep up with everything. I have thought about being a dentist or going into Banking. When I do finish school, whether I am a dentist or a banker, then I will have to get my job. All of this is a little scary, but it is also exciting. I realize after I get my job that I will also have student loans to pay back. I also will finally get my freedom to go and do as I want. I will be able to buy the kind of car I want. I can finally get the house I want and I will be my own boss. To sum it up, all my goals lead me to college. I am excited to be here. I look forward to what tomorrow brings. We all can enjoy the day to day, hanging out with our friends, going to the mall, but at the end of the day, we need to study the books to ensure that tomorrow becomes what we plan. If we don’t , we

Reaching the top of the tree in one's chosen occupation or profession is the usual standard by which success in life is measured, at least in the Western world. However many Asians would reject this criterion. The contemplative religions assert that success is only measurable in terms of religious advancement and of the acquisition of the virtues. Thus, success would be in inverse ratio to material advancement.…

Aimless life is certainly a sin. Many people have no definite aim in life. They are like the travelers going a head without any destination. Such people lead an aimless life and what they do in life, is largely a matter of chance, determined by the circumstances in which they happen to be placed. Aimless people do not achieve any thing in life. They just live because they have to live.A man or woman without an ambition is really an unfortunate person because his life is just like a ship without a rudder. It is at the mercy of winds and will be tosses hither and thither aimlessly. As it does not have any set destination. It will reach nowhere. Without any set aim a person can achieve nothing in his life. One should have a definite purpose of life. The people who want success in life, first of all, determine their target. They keep before them their circumstances, their virtuous, their qualities, their talents and their ability to work.
