I make sure that it’s even on both sides. Before picking up my saddle, I make sure that everything is out of the way so that nothing gets caught underneath the saddle. Once I do that, I pick my saddle up and place it gently on her back. I make sure that it’s in the center of her back and not on her shoulders. I take the stirrup, breast collar, girth, and back cinch off the top of the saddle. I go back to the left side of my horse and reach under her belly to grab the girth. I put the latigo through the ring on the girth and tighten it. I then reach under her belly again to grab the back cinch. I slip the billet through the ring and put it on the third hole. I walk over to the right side of her and undo the breast collar and wither strap. I then attach the breast collar onto the saddle and girth so that it goes across her chest and the wither strap goes over her
