These two girls had to over come everything their parents taught them to do something they would die to do.Betty Marie learned to take pride from her grandma.Betty also tried very hard and only made it to rodeos and country fairs.She was also told to start all the way over to get better.She changed her name to Maria to fit in better.She finally got big and made it to preforming on New York City. Rosa was a girl that wasn't aloud to paint.Rosa’s dad was a painter and always told her she couldn't paint.Rosa was supposed to learn how to make dresses,but refused to do it.At the age of thirteen Rosa’s dad finally let her learn how to paint.Rosa’s art was in “The Horse Fair”in 1853.Then in 1865 Rosa became the first woman artist to receive France’s highest award.I honestly think Rosa over
came everything to do something she loved. Rosa over come is little more interesting then Betty Marie,because her dad was an artiest.Rosa’s dad wouldn't let her become an artiest no matter how much she begged.He just wouldn't teach her.Rosa kept asking,but he just wouldn’t.He wanted her to do dress making.
After a couple years and Betty turned thirteen her dad let her start learning how to do art.He made her start at the basic and wouldn't let her draw any realistic animals.He would always give a task to Rosa for the day.One day Rosa’s dad went to work,and while he was gone she went outside,and picked berries.Rosa used the berries for like a paint subtense.The day went by and her dad came back from work and was impressed with what she did.He soon let her start drawling realistic animals. Rosa using her imagination and going out of the box really made her out standing.That got her a kickstart of being a real artiest.The next day she started working on realistic animals.Rosa’s dad was even more impressed. Rosa’s artwork was sent to “The Horse Fair” in 1853’.Which shows her artwork is really good.In 1865 Rosa became the first woman artist to receive France’s highest award.Rosa was the first ever girl to become an
artiest. Rosa is the reason why we are aloud to have girl artiest today.Rosa had to over come a lot of things.
