my motorcycle
Imagine, a motorcycle, so stunningly amazing you have to bow down for weeks to be able to just... See a glimpse of the bike. In the new model of 2014, they came out with a pocket bike called the "Blade". This sparked my curiosity, like curious George. I was alerted this email because of my obsession with bikes because it tracks my history. So far, I have tracked pictures of the blade pocket bike, videos of the blade pocket bike, reviews of the blade pocket bike, and consumer reports, OF THE BLADE POCKET BIKE! Blade pocket bikes are not expensive, and have exactly 30 miles per gallon. They weigh only 30 pounds and are the number 1 pick on the website, minipocketrockets.com. Truly, the reason I want this bike is to be cool, let go, have a good time, show off to my haters, have a better transportation, and just act like a kid, because childhood... Only comes once in a lifetime. Thank you. Next, I will like to talk about the description. It is not as small as you think, according to the website, it is a 50:1 engine, which means you have to mix the gasoline(50) with oil(1).

The All-New, completely redesigned Blade 49R now includes the largest and most powerful engine in any pocket bike: a larger 49cc Race-Tuned Engine. From its Treaded Racing Tires to the redesigned handlebar setup, (noticed how I used the to and from) this pocket bike will reward its rider with perfect grip and perfect handling in any dilemma. The Blade's new 49cc race engine was tuned to provide a flatter power curve so maximum torque can be reached almost instantaneously. (Quote taken from website) And because this new engine is larger in displacement than any other pocket bike in its class, more horsepower is achieved for high speed passes and top speed runs. The hp is 5. The Blade 49R will literally leave other pocket bikes in the dust! Unique colors, treaded racing tires and a side-exit exhaust system sets the Blade apart from other pocket bikes. I must confess that I enjoyed those TV shows even they contain the concept of nurses’ false images. Perhaps it indirectly contributes to the nursing shortage. According to the article The Negative Images of Nursing Portrayed on Grey’s Anatomy, House and ER and its Effect on Public Perception and the Contemporary Nursing Shortage, “ER, Grey’s Anatomy and House are three well-liked medical shows with a large-scale audience spanning across the country. All three shows, however, fail to portray nurses with a positive image and essentially undermine the profession in various ways. These negative images of nurses actually contribute to the overall nursing shortage that has plagued so many hospitals across the nation; whether it be undermining, insulting,…

In this literacy narrative, Blogs Are Not Pseudo-Diaries by Stacy Yi, Stacy talks about her experiences writing about her time spent in the Dominican Republic the summer after she graduated high school. The thesis statement of this narrative is “Far more interesting, though, was my hands-on education in the possibilities of travel journalism, and the freedom that comes with disregarding expectations.” Stacy talks about how there were lots of people who wanted to be kept up to date with her experiences while she was in the Dominican so she set up a blog where she could easily do so. At first she wrote mainly about how she was enjoying her time, posted some pictures, and wrote about missing home, the things she thought she should be writing about. Things she thought people wanted to read about. Stacy began to grow bored with what she was writing and the views on her posts were dwindling, she could tell her readers were becoming bored as well. Soon she stopped posting all together, she thought it was pointless. One day, she had a conversation with the oldest daughter of her host family and she knew she wanted to write about her and Stacy decided to post it. She started posting about local soccer games, restaurant reviews, disagreements she had with members of the family, things she really liked to write about. She felt better about the things she was writing, she felt satisfied. Stacy felt that writing day to day posts would provide a lot of information but not capture the feel of her trip to the Dominican. She felt that to make a good record of her trip she needed to write about things were relevant to her trip and in ways that fir the experiences she had.…

The legendary motorcycle company, Harley-Davidson was founded in 1903, by William D, Walter, Arthur and William S. Harley right in their own backyard. By 1909, they had introduced the first V-twin engine, which is the company standard to this day. Harley-Davidson motorcycles were found to be useful during World War I, where they supplied 20,000 to the military. After this war, the depression threatened the motorcycle industry, and Harley-Davidson and Indian were the only ones to survive through the 1930 's. Then during the Second World War they found themselves in the light again, this time supplying 90,000 motorcycles. In 1953 their competitor, Indian closed and Harley-Davidson was the only American motorcycle manufacturer for the next 46 years. By 1970 the United States was importing motorcycles from Japan that were lower priced, imposing on Harley-Davidson 's market share. By 1986, after convincing the International Trade commission to remove tariffs on imported heavyweight Japanese motorcycles one year early, they regained their place at the top of the heavyweight market beating Honda. President Regan was amazed with the company and called them an "American success story." After this, the company continued to grow and in 2003, Harley-Davidson Inc. celebrated their 100th year anniversary.…
