From a name like Interpersonal Communications, I expected a lot more talking and interacting with other students as opposed to reading and watching a powerpoint / listening to a lecture. I'm not complaining though, I prefer learning this way and if you need help learning better people skills, that's what speech class is for I guess. I like the book, overall it's easy to read, they offer good examples and activities to read along with, and they highlight keywords and concepts well. Relfecting on class activities, I like when we do things such as when we filled in the blanks on that worksheet about listening, that helps me remember concepts better than just looking at the powerpoint slides and taking notes. Even though I almost never share, I like at the start of class when we discuss how we have used what we learned in our daily lives. It's good to show how this class can be useful everyday, and not just for a grade and a degree.
