We often think of Romeo and Juliet as sad lovers who weren’t meant to be, yet we fail perceive the joy they felt in each others company. There were many fences that separated them, but their love prevailed. They chose to love each others regardless of what others thought. Although their love was foolish, they followed their heart and this lead to happiness. Like Romeo and Juliet, I also dislike being constrained by others and their thoughts. However, when I was able to break free of other’s expectations I found true contentment, just as these characters did. These experiences have shown me that when we surpass limits that others place on us, we will find happiness although it might hurt at first. Undergoing that situation taught me to trust myself, as well as God. It made me a more honest, happier, and realistic person who has priorities. That which encased me, ironically, set me free. Everyone faces boundaries, but what we choose to do with them is what really defines us. We can choose to be intimidated by them or to break them. Often, those who we remember as great achievers broke past limits. For example, Martin Luther King Jr. who broke past the barrier of race and fought for the rights of african americans. Regardless of the disapproval he may have felt at first. We can rest assured that he must have died a happy man because he fought for his dream of racial equality. When we truly embrace this lesson, we can then proceed to be extraordinary and find
