His narrowed mindset, a consequence of his isolation, has further pushed him away from becoming socially acceptable and normal. He justifies his irrational actions by stating “[she] would’ve been proud,” consequently believing that his selfish acts are valid due to his mother’s support. However, his mother’s support is simply a fragment of his imagination; his mother is not there, nor does she ever contact him. He twists his mother’s affection into reasons that encourage his unfounded ways of thinking. When angered he turns to extreme actions, such as his “want to rip his wrinkly and saggy body apart,” because his neighbor liked to watch the Kardashians late at night. He eventually falls into his temptations and “[snags] him.” His common and relatable emotions become translate to baseless actions. I utilize the rhetor’s cannibalistic tendencies to exaggerate his illogical actions. Because he is unaware of how to handle his overwhelming he emotions he acts drastically and without reason. He resorts to eating his enemy, the old man, because he is ignorant as to how he should handle his emotions. His lack of social interaction cornered him into being oblivious as to how he should handle certain social scenarios.
