My Space photo essay
My space There are many places that I could have used to describe myself. Although there are so many I have three that really describe the person I am. One of these pictures may come to most people as a surprise. So here is a few pictures that really describe me. My first picture is one of my favorite things to do. This is where people become very surprised with me. I love to play video games. I even play this stuff for money. My ps3 is everything to me. It gets me through the times that are stressful or heartbreaking. I have made a lot of friends off of this too. A guy my age from Oklahoma I have been playing with him on ps3 for about a year now. He has been here to Missouri. He stayed with me for about 4 days and it was honestly some of the most fun I have ever had. Most of all this piece of technology lets me express myself with skills that I didn’t even know I had. My television that is in this photo I just bought recently. Since moving I had an old crappy television so my grandparents bought me this one. This is by far the most outrageous television is have ever seen or used. It lets me do my homework. Allows me to surf the web. Allows me to catch up on all of the real world things going on. Most of all though it lets me play my ps3. My controller is a state of the art kind of controller. The controller alone would cost someone $300. It is called a scuf gaming controller. It allows me to use my hands quicker and shoot faster when I am playing Call of Duty. It also allows me to kind of cheat if you could say. I can jump in the air and fall back to the ground very quickly which gives me an upper hand on people who do not have one of these. As a pro gamer most of us have these scuf gaming controllers. The last gaming equipment I have is my Turtle Beach headset. This headset cost about $200. I can literally hear everything you can think of when I have these on. There can be a

As settlement housing improves slum families. Many think it’s for pity. Some think it’s for the betterment of city families and neighborhoods. Jane Addams, a influential member of the movement says settlement houses help people “learn from life itself”. But Jane Addams wasn’t the only influential members of the movement. Ellen Gates star founded Chicago’s first “Hull House” in 1889. Along with many others, like Locust Street social settlement in Hampton, Virginia. Founded by Janie Porter Barett. Also the very first settlement house for African Americans. These settlement houses cultivated urban cities and helped keep responsibility for the urban poor. But the argument still stands whether it was for them and society or because they felt bad. Recent reports from Jane Addams say that she thinks "Private beneficence is totally inadequate to deal with the vast numbers of the city's disinherited." This being said at least Jane Addams supports the betterment of society.…

However, when I read it again I had a better understanding of where the author was coming from, and how he felt about death. I had an understanding and open-mindedness emotion during this poem for the simple fact that so many people avoid even talking about death, let alone writing about it. However, having said that, I think this poem that should help people not be so fearful of dying.…
