My Three Core Values Of My Personal Code Of Ethics
My personal Code of Ethics will be provided with an explanation of why each is a value in my life. The first values are love and compassion. I value love and compassion because of my religious belief. If we can’t love one another, how can we expect God to love us. And, with compassion, God is a constant in my life. If he can still remain present in my life through and guide me through all the adversaries, I face, then I should be able to help and encourage others when needed.
My second core value is dependability. This is a value because I do not like uncertainty and when someone asks something of me, if it is within my ability I try to do what is asked. I want to know if someone will show up and be present and be there for me when I

I value these because, I believe the person you are today, should be better than you were yesterday and change in the right direction for the better is gone. I strongly believe, that the more you know the better off you are. I live by the statement, “know better, do better”. I value education because, that is one thing no one can take from you. Too many people, have fought for my right to learn. As an African-American woman, I should hold education dear and honor those who have come before me from accomplishing my education goals.
My fourth core values are consistency and balance. I value consistency and balance, because most things can be measured by right and wrong, good and bad or answered with a yes or no. I like to know what is to come and feel reassured knowing that people and the situation may not change and if it does, it should be for the better. And I can accept, that type of change.
And finally, my last grouping of core values are Perseverance, Resilience, and Determination. I have been in school for the last 21 years. It has been a long journey. At times, I did not see an end and wanted to give up and at times, I did for a while, but I got back up and started again. I am a better person, because of this journey and I know that, I can do anything, that I, put my mind

I try to treat people as I want them to treat me. I believe that you say, what you mean and you mean what you say. I feel that respect is earned as I gave as much respect, as is due. I practice loyalty but I cannot be loyal to someone when the person is in the wrong. And I expect no less.
I try to live by the following principles: autonomy, beneficence, and nonmaleficence. With the first principle, autonomy, I believe people have the right to choose; their life, their choice. Because of my religious beliefs, they will one day have to meet their maker and at that time, it will be between them. People should have the right to choose as long as it is not detrimental to themselves and does not harm others.
The second principle, beneficence, I try to follow this principle by trying to have my actions be in the best interest of others and I show compassion and kindness to others. I am a helper by nature. I want to do good at all times, and hope that others try to do the same. It gives me a heavy heart to see others, do something that is unjust and does more harm than

Another core value to me is loyalty. When I read something about war, I’m often moved by the soldiers’ loyalty to their nations. I think a person should be loyal to his/her nation, party, or group. Loyalty is the base for people who live in a community. If a person often betrays his group, he cannot be believed by others. Nobody tells him the truths. Nobody wants to work with him. Then he cannot live in the group.…

Loyalty is also of the utmost importance to me. This means loyalty to my family and friends. It also means loyalty to my profession no matter what that may be. Without loyalty to my profession, I would not be upholding my integrity. I must give 100% to my profession because this is why I am being paid. I must also maintain that level of loyalty to those I am being paid to help. I would be doing them and myself a disservice otherwise.…

My two core values are Family and Faith. My top priorities in life are God and my family. It wasn't hard for me to choose my top two core values because I know that with God and my family I am able to achieve the other things. My family were the first people to provide me with love, happiness, friendship, and wisdom. They have been here for me every step of the way and as I am getting older, everything I strive to be and to do is ultimately to help them and make them proud. Faith is very important to me and that is something that my family has taught and instilled in me. Everything I do is for the approval of God. I have learned that hat God has for me is for me. Therefore, I am able to achieve success, peace, status, and wealth if that is…

The first is family – my family is everything to me. They support me and make my life worth living. The second is dependability – I know that people can depend on me and I expect the same of others. My third main value is honesty / integrity – without this there is nothing. We must do the right thing, even when people aren’t watching. Fourth is teamwork – doing things on our own is sometimes easier, but “together everyone achieves more!” Finally, effectiveness is important to me. Although focusing on success seems selfish, effectiveness can be in all you do- how you work on your relationship with your spouse, kids and family; how you treat others, how you worship your Lord, or how your treat your…

In order to live day by day, I simply follow five core values that make me the person I am today. The five core values that I live by are: family, education, honesty, responsibility, and open-minded. Core values are important to live by because they are what makes a person and it is important to see someone’s characteristics of what they value. According to dictionary.com, the definition of value is “the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something” (dictionary.com, 2016). Like the definition states, values are something of importance and each individual cherishes different values, which they find important and what fits their lives in the best way. My family are the one’s who…

The values that I hold most deeply are friendships, family, and happiness. Values are things that are important in the way I live and work and I believe all of these things play a major role in my life. Since I was a little kid, my values have changed tremendously. Back then, my values would've been playtime, mac & cheese, and chicken nuggets. I believe values mature as you grow and mine definatly did. For example, when I was younger I remember being friends with everyone, but now I only have a select number of friends. This represents values to me. My values inform my actions by them always being my first thought while making a decision. They always play a role in my…

Morals, values, and ethics are one of the most important characteristics of a person. These features define who we are and what we believe in. Many different factors come in to play when determining a person`s morals, values, and ethics; childhood upbringing, later life experiences, family, friends, culture, religious beliefs, race, discussions with others, and many others that have an affect a person’s beliefs (Head, 2006). There are times when a person`s beliefs do not agree with someone else’s, which does not mean that one of these people is wrong, it means that we, as individuals, do not all think the same. As a whole, most people have a good sense of right and wrong, which is to say that for the most part most people have good morals, values, and ethics.…
