My Visit To The Metropolitan Museum Of Art
I would like to tell you about my visit to the one of the most beautiful museums in the world The Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is located in the east of Central Park, being, in fact, part of it. The main entrance is the majestic and pathetic. The building has several floors are spacious, and each of the gallery halls like immerses the visitor in a parallel world. Whether it's a bloodthirsty Aztec god figurine, rock reliefs by the ancient Sumerians, harmoniously ancient statue, sarcophagus with the mummy of an Egyptian or a famous painting of Van Gogh it seems that there is nothing in the museum of the secondary. Low ceilings, narrow window, through which barely breaks the sunlight. And along with the interiors are presented Dutch paintings. An important section of the museum that deserves attention is a section of musical instruments. The collection has a lot of instruments from all over the world: traditional and courtiers, including the old piano, violin, harpsichord. A rich collection of non-European instruments. The museum's collections are so numerous that it is simply impossible to list them all, I need only to mention works by European artists from different times Monet, Cezanne, Rembrandt, Vermeer, and many others. The number of paintings on display a lot, but each of them is simply priceless. It is remarkable that the museum are not strictly fixed entry fee. Despite the fact that the price of the ticket is marked, any visitor can go for a minimal fee or even for free. Tours of the museum is free, you only need to know at what time and in what place of interest begin the museum tours. Well, after the museum, you can take a stroll through Central Park.
