ideas I was trying to get across throughout the essay. So I went back and started rewriting my essays, started figuring out where I went wrong, and it was mostly just grammar mistakes and not using enough literary devices throughout the essays, so I just simply incorporated those into my new drafts. But even with these new and improved drafts there was still something off about them and no matter how much I kept trying to fix things here and there I was never able to produce the essays that I felt confident in that would show myself towards the colleges admissions board. Another point in my recent writing career that I noticed this problem I was facing was in my Literature class, when we would write three essays a week in preparation for the AP Exam.
I never had difficulty thinking about what to write or how I was going to address the prompt, I also never worried about not having enough written down considering I would produce about three to four pages in a relatively short amount of time. But no matter how much practice I got in writing them I would never feel confident before turning them in. And this stuck with me throughout the year and especially during the AP exam. This has been my biggest problem in writing since I started. I have approached it in many different ways but no matter what I was never able to produce any essay that had my complete confidence in. This has been my writing hump that I need to achieve in order to take my writing to where it needs to
be.
