Myths of the Illuminati
Illuminati. The truth? A myth? The term “illuminati” in Latin means enlightenment. You all may have opinions that suggest it isn’t real, but there is proof that it is affecting the world and how we live right now. On May 1, 1776, in Bavaria Dr. Adam Weishaupt, a professor of Canon Law at Ingolstadt University and a former Jesuit, formed a secret society called the Order of the Illuminati within the existing Masonic lodges of Germany. The Illuminati was a secret society within a secret society, a mystery inside a mystery. There have been numerous myths and conspiracy theories that have involved the Illuminati including the French Revolution, conspiracy against the Roman Catholic Church and the establishment of a new world order. According to one of the most popular conspiracy theories, the Illuminati are said to have influenced the emergence of the United States. Throughout modern history, the Illuminati are purported to be conspiratorial organization groups whom are alleged to mastermind events and control world affairs through governments and corporations to establish a New World Order (Illuminati: the Game of Conspiracy).
Illuminati actually have a “religion”, a belief system, called Luciferianism or Illuminism. Luciferianism comes from the word Lucifer, which is known by many as Satan, the dark ruler of the underworld. To fully understanding the reasoning for using such a dark ruler as a name of a religion, one must first understand the history. In the Bible, a story is told about Lucifer, the highest of the angels; yet, he was not satisfied, and wanted more. He wanted to replace God and attempted to do this by creating the first rebellion against him. God quickly banished Lucifer from Heaven and sent him, along with one third of all the angels away to the underworld. Lucifer, once the good angel of light, became Satan, evil angel of darkness (The New Oxford Annotated Bible, Luke 10:18). This story explains how Illuminati wants the same thing Lucifer did, the
