The original hypothesis was supported by the results from this experiment. The prediction was that narcissistic individuals would have more posts on Instagram than non-narcissistic individuals. Once the experiment had concluded, this statement was found to be true. This is because the average number of posts in the past 52 weeks on Instagram was 26 for the group of individuals who were identified as narcissistic while the average number of posts in the past 52 weeks on Instagram was 24 for the group of individuals who were identified as non-narcissistic. Originally, the goal of the experiment was to test the effect of personality, specifically narcissism on frequency of posting on social media. It would be interesting to test the effect of personality on something such as frequency of texting, or frequency of emailing or something along those lines. Then, using information from the past experiment and the new one, the effects of narcissism could be compared among the experiments. It could be shown whether or not narcissistic or non-narcissistic people act differently on different subjects based on the frequency of posting from the previous experiment, compared to the frequency of the new subject like texting or emailing. This future experiment would not only be interesting individually, but it would be very interesting if the results were compared with this current
