My journey from the likes of Belgium , Senegal , Guinea, Morocco, Sierra Leone and Germany to America has been nothing but exquisite and adventurous and within that time I have met many people and picked up on a few languages, just to to name a few; French , German , and Wolof. But still then they couldn't get an advantage, So minutes later one of their kids came up to me and said “ you're so fu*&$#ng ugly , and keep in my mind my family used to own you”, and at first I thought that I disregarded that comment, but I made a crucial error in the windup of the game which costed my team the victory.At the end of the game, I confronted this kid and in doing so I received a red card and was suspended for our 2nd to last game , and all i did was call him and idiot and threw the “F” word out there . But, right after I reacted, I regretted this because I knew that I had just lowered myself down to his level and made a fool of myself .Ironically this kid was my greatest success story, he helped me understand that there is a lot more to the game of soccer than just having fun and winning. You don't fight racism with racism , you fight it with solidarity.(Bobby
