I’ve been trained to respect my coach and teammates, which today and In the future will help me to be disciplined in whatever I decide to do in my life. Soccer is my escape. It helps me get away whenever I’m having a hard time. I have one of the most special memories of having my mom as my first coach ever. She is the reason I’m where I am today. Every game when I step my foot on the field, I’m reminded that she is looking over me from above cheering me on. It’s an amazing feeling knowing I can connect with her through the game. I’ll try to make my mom proud in everything I do on and off the field. My experience playing will always be appreciated. Guidance from my coaches throughout the year helped me not only be a better soccer player but a better person overall. I appreciate the game of soccer and everything it had taught me through the years and how it will affect me later on. I just can’t name one sport I’d rather play.
