After some time passed waiting for the papers to be approved, they could finally move to Washington, D.C. Life there was interesting for him. The language, culture, was like an alien to them. Since it was the 1980’s, there still wasn’t a lot of immigrants living there, so he couldn’t eat the food that he was used to here. Rice, bread, noodles, were some foods he was familiar with, but he did try other food. It was then where he found his now favorite food, pizza, saying, “I ate a lot of pizza. We now have more diversity here from when he first moved to now. Though he hasn’t changed much since he still eats pizza, but it’s only once in a while, or so he tells me. Things he likes to do when he has free time is watching the TV. He watches it every day after he gets off from work. Watching lots of action movies is one of his favorite things to watch, especially if it has Bruce Lee and Clint Eastwood in it. Another thing he likes doing is gardening. He likes to do it since he get’s that from his mom, though he can’t grow anything with “all these dang squirrels.” One thing he really enjoys is listening to music. When driving in the car he listens to a lot of 80’s music. He can name the singer and title of the song just by hearing the first note of the song, and if it’s his favorite singer he can go on and on about what they
