2. In a women family she had no power over her family. Helping her husband with labor work was not something that she had to do. Only thing that she was able to do was house work and given birth to children. In her social life it depend on her circumstance but most of the women were feme covert. Feme covert is when a women cannot own property, bring suit, make contracts, or act as legal individual.
