Nazi Propaganda During The Holocaust

The Holocaust was a genocide in which 6 million Jews were murdered by the Nazi regime. The Holocaust occurred in January 30, 1933 – May 8, 1945. The Nazi party was able to carry out their systematic plan of genocide through various cruel, discrimination, and violence. Nazi had to generate a sense of hate towards the Jewish people. “The Pyramid shows biased behaviors, growing in complexity from the bottom to the top. Although the behaviors at each level negatively impact individuals and groups, as one moves up the pyramid” (adl.org). The Nazi propaganda falls under the first level in the “pyramid of hate” which is bias. The “pyramid of hate” describes concentrations camps as bias-motivated violence because they would murder and threaten the Jews and other minorities. All in all, the Holocaust embodies all levels of the pyramid which constitutes this historical event as the first notable modern-era genocide.
To begin, Nazi propaganda is under bias because propaganda was spreading false information about the to purposely mislead people so they could believe them.
Joseph Goebbels was the creator of the Nazi propaganda. “Goebbels controlled and used films, books, radio, newspapers, and even the German educational system” (A-1). Goebbels developed extremely successful campaigns using simple slogans and images repeated over and again in order to win public support for the party. The children in schools would be taught not to hang out with the Jews. The Nazi would describe the Jews as “Poisonous mushrooms”. However, Propaganda works on the general public for an idea and makes them ripe for the victory of this
idea.
To continue, Concentration camps are known as bias motivated violence in the pyramid of hate. “The Nazi Germany established about 20,000 camps to imprison its many millions of victims” (B-1). These facilities were called concentration camps because those imprisoned there were physically “concentrated” in one location(B-1). Concentration camps belongs under bias motivated violence category because an estimated 1/3 of all Jewish people alive at that time were murdered in the Holocaust. Camps didn’t want to waste bullets so they would put lots of people in a room with gas and have them breathe it so they could die. The Jews would be were some faculties would test medical experiments.
To conclude, The Holocaust occurred during World War II. In which during the holocaust Concentration camps, Nazi propaganda, Nuremberg Laws, and Kristallnacht also occurred. It was perfectly stated that The Nazi propaganda falls under bias in the pyramid of hate. Also how Concentration camps falls under bias motivated violence and what they did in the concentration camps. Over 11 million of people were killed and discriminated.
