Need Of Civilization
“I’m trying to think. Supposing we go, looking like we used to, washed and hair brushed- after all we aren’t savages really and being rescued isn’t a game.” The theme The Need of Civilization affects both individuals and society by fairness, loss of control or power, and fear.
The book, The Lord of the Flies, written by William Golding, is about how a group of boys are stranded on an island and they are the only ones there. These boys need to find ways to survive. The main characters are Ralph, Piggy, Simon and Jack. In the book Ralph becomes the leader of all of the boys and tells all of them what he thinks they should do to survive. Jack has some different thoughts on how to do things. The main conflict in this book is when Jack splits
