Respected fathers, judges, teachers and dear friends. Today I stand before you to share my views on the topic given to me “Your Faith Has Made You Well (St. Mark 10:52).”
What is faith?
Faith is an attitude as well as a statement. It is an attitude of trusting God fully like a little child, trusting his or her mother without question. Faith is a statement as well like the creed to dispel all shadows of doubt. Your Faith Has Made You Well (St. Mark 10:52). Jesus said this to the blind beggar, Barthemaeus at Jericho when he called out saying, “Jesus, son of David have pity on me”. Barthemaeus believed that Jesus could heal him. His faith in the Saviour healed him of his blindness.
St. John 3:16 says “for god loved the world so much that he gave his only son so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. From this passage it is clear that whoever has faith in Jesus Christ will attain salvation.
Born at a certain timeframe in history, man lives a transient life in this world and fades out. Man is not the master of his destiny and longs for guidance which he seeks and gets from God, and when he departs from this world, he hopes to be with God who alone is eternal. Faith gives man a foundation in this world and in the world to come.
In Romans 4:2, St. Paul talks about faith, that “faith is absolute trust and total dependence on God and being fully persuaded that God has power to do what he has promised.”

Being foolish, he learns from
