Enter Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet. Perhaps they could have brought peace to Verona without all the bloodshed were they not so ill advised. As it were these young lovers set into action events much larger than themselves. Aside from the lovers four other people were killed. This is a failure on the Prince's part. If he had started at the root of the problem (the heads of houses) he could have ended the enmity without the loss.
Now that the feud is over the path is unclear. I am hopeful that compensation will be offered as apology to the general public, but I fear Lord Capulet and Montague would rather erect golden statues of their children than repair the damage their rivalry has
