The evocity I have chosen to move in to and start a family over the next 5 years was Bathurst. The Bathurst Regional Council is located 200km west of Sydney which is not too far, allowing me to have close access to the city from time to time and with a population of 40,209 people, Bathurst is not a very population-dense city which is preferred by me for the growth of a new family.
The cost of living in Bathurst is ridiculously cheap compared to Sydney. A full-brick house with 2 bedrooms is about $225,000 whereas a 1 bedroom apartment in Sydney costs $298,000. This gives us an opportunity to buy a bigger, better house for a cheap price in Bathurst as, if we were to buy in Sydney, with what we could afford, we’d only be able to buy a small apartment or flat which is not really what we are looking towards as we are planning to have a family living in the household. If we were to rent, a 3 bedroom home would cost us $260 a week compared to a 3 bedroom home in Sydney which would be $660 a week. Being able to afford a house allows us to also afford other living expenses such as groceries and water and electricity bills without a worry of a big mortgage to pay off at the same time.
In Bathurst, there are plenty of schools to choose from; 19 primary schools, 6 secondary schools, 9 non-Government schools. There is also access to special care schools which means, no need to travel big distances if we needed to apply a child to a special care school and there is a nearby university (Charles Sturt Uni) and The Western Institute of TAFE. This makes it perfect in regards to education; we have everything we need in Bathurst!
There is a huge variety of job opportunities in Bathurst. Popular job opportunities include; Education, Manufacturing, Retail, Trade and Health Services etc. There are also Business opportunities that include; engineering, health and social services and trade sectors, specialist medical services, industrial development and food manufacturing. Collectively, epics of creation are well known for the world gradually going through the change from being completely chaotic to fairly and orderly. Looking specifically at Enuma Elish and the Ugaritic Baal Cycle, each depicts female and male gods in particular and unique ways. In successfully contrasting the males and females in these works, similarities are also therefore notably highlighted throughout the works. Both epics tell their story and characterize the gods and goddesses’ as ones who are extremely powerful and violent, principally the male gods, as well as the female and male “pairs” in the creations. Parallel to this, differences are highlighted in the acquiring of their titles as almighty ones, as well as their traits and roles.…

In the beginning of the semester, I got the opportunity to meet Michelle Gingas from Fox Sports Network and TampaBayLightning.com. I had the chance to hear her story of how she became a sports broadcaster. In the process of starting her career, Gingas studied journalism at Loyola University and quickly found her niche in sports broadcasting. Gingas knew at a very young age that she wanted to do something that allowed her to interact with people on a daily basis as well as try and leave an impact on someone or make a positive difference. Gingas also loved how sports brought people together and loved the passion they brought out of her, so she tries to communicate that same passion she felt with viewers when she is covering a sport.…

    Fantasia Barrino

My first choice would have been a movie called Freedom Writers, however, since Brittany has already discussed it I’ll discuss another movie. The movie that is the next most powerful story I know is called “The Fantasia Barrino Story: Life Is Not a Fairy Tale.” Most of you probably have seen it before, if not you probably remember Fantasia Barrino whom was the winner of American Idol: Season 3. When Fantasia Barrino was in high school she was raped, she felt so alone after the attack and thought no one would believe her so she dropped out of school. Now Fantasia was a teenage dropout who had no money, no education and no chance at a real future. At 16, Fantasia found herself in an abusive relationship that left her pregnant and lost. But she refused to give up on her dreams. This movie tells how this inspiring young single mom used her incredible voice to become an American Idol, as well as a Grammy®-nominated, platinum-selling recording artist. This movie was very emotional because when the movie got towards the middle I was crying my eyes out. This movie has made Fantasia Barrino my idol and it had a really huge impact on me because my story is similar to hers so I can relate. The author of this movie had an effect of her audience by the way the movie was interesting from beginning to the end. Another way is because this movie is very encouraging to young women and even some men too. In my narrative next week I would like to write about never giving up on your dreams.…

Have a little Faith, Don’t give up” was quoted by the famous Fantasia Barrino. The quote is simply saying when life gets tough and hard, just keep the faith and go on. Fantasia is important in the music industry because her cousins are the famous K-Ci and JoJo from the group “Jodeci”. She is also important because people thought she wouldn’t be successful because she dropped out of high school and was functionally illiterate. I chose Fantasia because My mother and I love her music and she is also a prime example of a person who didn’t give up no matter what was thrown at her.…

Section 504 and IDEA contain two concepts that affect the planning and design of facilities used by students with disabilities. The first concept—appropriate education—requires that schools provide all students receiving special education services with an individualized education program (IEP). The IEP specifies the levels of performance, goals, and educational services to be provided and the extent to which students will participate in general education programs. Appropriate education has no statutory or regulatory definition and is, therefore, decided on a case-by-case basis. Court decisions and other rulings suggest a two-part analysis can be made to determine appropriateness: Were the procedural requirements set forth in IDEA met, and did the IEP benefit the student?…
