“The Prince”
I would like to start form a short summary on the book “The Prnice”, which contains 26 parts. When N. Machiavelli wrote that book, he addressed it to the prince. So, this book is not similar to other books from this genre. N. Machiavelli wanted to say to the ruler of the country or state how he ought to rule it. He, also, provided some useful advice and added examples. Moreover, he wrote how to make the whole nation respect the head of the country and those parts are very useful, not only for the rulers, but also for the majority of people. However, there are some disadvantages of this book. First of all, the author never ruled the country, that is, some of his recommendations might be wrong. Secondly, every ruler has his own ideas about the way how to rule the country. Because he knows what happens inside the country. In one review on that book was written: “As I read it, I couldn 't help wondering which of our own leaders have read it and which have not. The first part of the book tells us about different kinds of state, how to deal with trouble in them and how to conquer them successfully.”1
Before moving to the main body, I wanted to add some words about N. Machiavelli. Nicolo Machiavelli was an italian philosopher, writer, politician, diplomat. For many years he was an official in the Florentine Republic with responsibilities in diplomatic and military affairs. He was a supporter of the strong and powerful government. Machiavelli expressed ideas about how to consolidate the government in the famous work “The Prince”. 2
At the beginning, Nicolo described the structure of the state and how the governors ruled theirs empire. He gave some samples, in which he told about situation, where citizens believed that new prince will be better than previous one, so they were against him, and new emperor changed old one. But then, they realized that they made a mistake and new ruler worse than previous. The result of this kind of
