The book Night by Elie Wiesel, is about the journey a teenage boy name Elie. Elie wrote this book about how he survived the holocaust. From the beginning we know he survived long enough to tell the stories about the terrible things man has put other man through. Elie changes a lot throughout the book. His religion, family, and his perspective on life changes drastically.
Religion has a big role in this book. Elie was a very religious jew. Being jew was the reason he was taken to the concentration camps to work and die. In the beginning of the book Elie believes in the all mighty god and that everything would be ok if he sticks by god's side, but things don't turn out that way, and Elie starts to question god and why he isn't helping
Elie and his father through the terrible camps.
Elie had a big family before they got to the concentration camps. Eliezer had a father a mother and three sisters. After the terrible train ride to get to the concentration camps Elie was taken from his mother and sisters, never to be seen again, but not his entire family was stolen from him. He manages to stay with his father throughout most of the book. After they are the only two survivors Eliezer's dad dies leaving Elie the only survivor.
People have different perspectives, and they can change depending on the things people have been through. Eliezer didn't believe the things he saw once they got to the concentration camps. He was full of life and still figuring out where he belongs. After all he suffered his perspective on life is more precious. He believes that life shouldn't be forced into camps, and should not be taken advantage of. After losing everything he has a wider perspective and he was a wiser person because of the journey he went through.
The story about a teenage boy named Elie, was no normal story. This story was about a teenage boy who survived through concentration camps. He lost everything but that didn't make him give up Elie had faith and that is what brought him through the terrible journey that inspired him to write the book Night, but this isn't just a book about survival this book teaches us a lesson about how bad man treats other man, and how we should never lose faith.
