You could divide the amount you work weekly by he amount you could make hourly to find out how many hours you needed to work to make more hourly. An example
would be if you god a raise and Made ten dollars an hour then you would make more if you worked forty plus hours. All of this is without including overtime pay. With over time you would make time and a half. Over time is working forty hours or more and for every hour you work you make one point five times your hourly.
Including overtime the equation would be hours you worked times hourly plus overturn what would be hours you worked subtracted from forty then multiplied by one point five times the hourly.
Depending on how many hours are worked an hourly wage is better then a low weekly. Over time a salary increases but the amount of increase is less than a hourly increase.
