Nonverbal communication changes explicit meanings by observing the way the person gives the message. Variables like a person's stance,their facial expressions, and the tone of their voice can easily alter the basic composition of the sentence. The explicit meaning of a message could be "I love walking dogs," but if you've already had a long stressful day and all you want to do is lay down and go to sleep but your mom tells you to go walk the dog.
