Northridge Hospital Case Study

Northridge Hospital, is a Dignity Health member, which is a non-for-profit hospital and have progressed over time with serving 2.2 million residents. It was founded in 1955 located in the middle of San Fernando Valley and the structure of the hospital is community based and the design of the care system is considered to be private. In the health assessment, mentioned the population mix of the total Northridge Hospital Medical Center Service Area Demographics which were, “White/ Non-Hispanic 33.7%, Black/ African American 4.1%, Hispanic or Latino 46.6%, Asian/Pacific Islander 10.8% and all others 2.8%” (“2016 Community Health Needs Assessment”, 2016). At this organization, they offer acute care and in total of seventeen services to the patients.
