2. I believe the best path for this business is the home based entrepreneur. Starting as a free-lace worker since it will mostly only require a high resolution camera, camera equipment (i.e tri-pod, lens, etc) and a computer for editing and posting of the video on different platforms. …show more content…

One of my problems would be finding the right people to grow the business. Finding people, who are able to shoot and edit videos and do it well and probably work for less money than they would get at a major company. To really get into what editing softwares such as Final Cut and Premier Pro can do a person needs years of use in it and it cannot be taught over night. Also teaching a person how to frame shots, the right type of lighting and how a shot is meant to make a person feel takes time to learn. So I would need people who are experienced in those fields. My other challenge would be dealing with a sense of isolation and disillusionment, editing can take hours to days to get done. Since, I would be starting this business solo this would be a major problem because I would have hours of just sitting in front of a computer by myself and editing already a stressful endeavor. This is all on top of trying to run the business on my
own.
4. Building my professional network would have to start with my dad. He has taken up network marketing since his retirement from the military, so he already has his military connections on top of his network marketing connections. If I was to start this business it would be in my home town of Lake City, Florida where a large portion of my family lives and the town is just small enough that my last name is known by many people in the area. Also going through my cousin who has started his own business and already has a good reputation in Lake City. He was a trucker in Jacksonville and knows many people in that Area.
