KEYBOARD
A computer keyboard is an input device used to enter characters and functions into the computer system by pressing buttons or keys.it is the primary device used to enter text. A keyboard is used to enter text . a keyboard typically contains keys for individual letters, numbers and …show more content…
special characters ,as well as keys for specific functions. A keyboard is connected to a computer system using a cable or a wireless connection. They are different types of computer keyboards whereby a normal keyboard is composed of around 110 keys. They are also four major keyboard layout being used worldwide QWERTY,AZERTY,QWERTZ and HCESAR but they can be classified in many more different categories depending on the types of computer connector ,size, number of keys.We have different types of keyboards which are ADB (Apple Desktop bus, XT,MINI , MULTIMEDIA keyboard and lastly the internet keyboard wireless keyboard, gaming keyboard, membrane keyboard.
MOUSE
This is an input device designed to manipulate objects on the computer screen. Computer mice come in many shapes and sizes but all designed to fit either the left or right hand. And a scroll wheel, are integrated onto the mouse to provide a wide variety of functions. This also allows the user to select items stored on a computer and, subsequently perform actions on those items .mice communicate with the computer either wirelessly or wired.
SCANNER
A scanner is a device that captures images from photographic prints, posters, and similar sources for computer editing and display. When a document is scanned ,it is converted into a digital format. And this creates an electronic version of the document that can be viewed and edited on a computer. scanners can be small ,hand held units or large capable of scanning a large image. And most scanners come with a basic software which imports data from scanners needed to do this. And there are many brands of imaging software .they many types of scanners which includes flat –bed devices which have a flat scanning surface .another type of scanner is the sheet-fed scanner which can only accept paper documents. Photo scanners which are meant for scanning photos, sheet fed scanners, portable scanners.
LIGHT PEN
A light pen is a computer input device in the form of a light sensitive wand used in conjunction with a computersmonitor.it allows the user to point to displayed objects, draw on the screen in a similar way to a touchscreen but with greater positionalaccuracy.it works by sensing the sudden small change in brightness of a point on the screen.
TOUCHSCREEN
A touch screen is a computer display screen that is also an input device. The screens are sensitive to pressure , a user interacts with the computer by touching pictures or words on the screen. They are three types of touch screen technology which are resistive, surface wave and capacitive.
MICROPHONE

TOUCHPAD
This is a computer input device for controlling the pointer on a display screen by sliding the finger along a touch –sensitive surface. Touchpads are chiefly in laptop computers.it is an alternative to the mouse .

Thus, most output devices used by humans are in these categories. Examples include monitors, projectors, speakers, headphones and printers.

Floppy disk A floppy disk, or diskette, is a disk storage medium composed of a disk of thin and flexible magnetic storage medium, sealed in a rectangular plastic carrier lined with fabric that removes dust particles.
Floppy disks are read and written by a floppy disk drive (FDD).A floppy disk is used to record information on. The information is stored on the floppy disk and can be used later or used on another computer. Disk drive
Disk drive is used for storing and retrieving digital information using rapidly rotating disks coated with magnetic material. An Disk drive retains its data even when powered off. Data is read in a random-access manner, meaning individual blocks of data can be stored or retrieved in any order rather than sequentially. An disk drive consists of one or more rigid rapidly rotating disks with magnetic heads arranged on a moving actuator arm to read and write data to the surfaces.A disk drive is used to record information from the computer onto a floppy disk or compact disk.
HEADPHONES
Headphones give sound output from the computer .they are similar to speakers ,except they are worn on the ears so only one person can hear the output at a
time.
MONITOR
The monitor is the piece of computer hardware that displays the video and graphics information generated by the computer through the video card. Monitors are very similar to televisions but usually display information at a much higher resolution. Monitors come in two major types - LCD or CRT. CRT monitors look much like old-fashioned televisions and are very deep in size. LCD monitors are much thinner, use less energy, and provide a greater graphics quality.
SPEAKER
The computer speaker is an output device which gives the user auditory feedback regarding the state of the computer. This can be as sophisticated as a 8-channel surround-sound system for playing movies and the like, or as basic as the integrated "beeper speaker" whos only role is indicate critical errors in the boot sequence when video output is not available.
PROJECTOR
A computer projector is a device that integrates a light source, optics system, electronics and display(s) for the purpose of projecting an image from a computer or video device onto a wall or screen for large image viewing. These devices attached to a computer or video device as you would connect a monitor.
