EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Many intervention efforts and research have been done aiming at reducing absence from job due to health problems. However, the efforts have resulted to decline in the rate of absence and a rise of the Presenteeism cases. Presenteeism describes the situation in which an employee reports to work but their productivity is less than the normal due to health problems. Many researchers have extensively researched the topic and their findings are almost the same though the methods of approach vary among different researchers.
