This report will identify how I have been involved with evaluating information that comes intothe organisation (new laws, standards, guidance, case law etc.). I also have to evaluateinformation that flows within the business such as accidents, near misses, new legislation and my role involves ensuring that information is sometimes sent outside the organisation,such as the HSE, LA, Fire Authority, and insurance Company etc.). All of this informationrequires evaluation and I will explain what I have done to fulfil these requirements.
I have developed the following communication systems to ensure that incoming informationis correctly passed on to relevant parties within the organisation: Safety ManagementSystem in relation to criteria 2.1.
I will explain how the communication systems are managed for a sample of health andsafety activities and will provide evidences of such control.My report will demonstrate how I ensure any external reporting is carried out with referenceto HSE/LA accident reporting/stakeholders and other relevant external bodies/groups.
