In 1985, Orenthal James Simpson married Nicole Brown Simpson. Several years later, the couple had filed for divorce. Throughout their marriage Orenthal was allegedly abusing Nicole. On June 13, 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were found dead outside of her Los Angeles home. Both victims had multiple lacerations across their faces and necks. Also, the wounds in their necks were very severe and exposed their larynxes. The police believed the crime was committed between 10:15 and 10:40 p.m. Soon enough, Orenthal was arrested because the LAPD believed he was the main suspect in the double homicide case. When he was arraigned, OJ pleaded not guilty to the charges of first degree murder. During the trial, the Prosecution presented several pieces of evidence. They stated that a witness testified that she saw a Ford Bronco, the brand of car driven by OJ at the time, speeding away from Nicole’s home on the night of the murder. Most importantly, OJ Simpson was physically unable to commit a crime of that sort because Ronald was a young man that would put up a fight, while OJ was a middle-aged man that suffered from chronic arthritis. Lastly, the single dark glove found t the crime scene was unable to fit OJ’s

The first point is that there was a knife found in Simpson’s home. It was purchased by Simpson before the murder occurred. The coroner says that the wounds on the two corpses indicated that the knife was a single edged knife, which matches the knife recently purchased aby Simpson. The doctor who looked the knife over says that he cannot be certain of the knife being the murder weapon, yet the murder weapon has never been found. In addition to this, when Simpson learns of the knife being found in his home, he was quoted as being “a bit nervous” of the knife that had been discovered. Why be nervous if it wasn’t used? The doctors never gave a definite answer on how the knife wasn’t used. They said they can’t be certain. The police posted that the knife wasn’t used, yet they never explained how it was proven to be clean. They simply said it wasn’t the weapon and went about their business. This is obviously reason to believe that the knife is the weapon used in the murder. The doctors aren’t positive, the police aren’t descriptive, and Simpson is “a bit nervous” of a knife found on his…

Was the six-month confinement in a county jail and three years of probation enough for the crime that Brock Turner committed? I understand that sanctions vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, but sexual assault is something to be taken very seriously no matter the outcome of the situation, in this situation hurting the athlete’s reputation…

Although more than most of the evidence could have put Mr. Simpson in prison for the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman if it had been found to be creditable, the fact that the investigation and collection were so splotchy and unorganized, with evidence being misplaced or lost and entered months later, notes that didn’t match up, and blood evidence that wasn’t properly packaged and secured by procedure. Just because Common sense tells us by looking at the abundance of evidence brought forward otherwise, for…

On June 12th, 1994, O.J. Simpson was charged with the murders of his ex wife, Nicole Brown and her Partner, Ronald Goodman. During his trial Nicole’s sister had came forward and said O.J. had abused her sister several times during their relationship. O.J. Simpson’s legal defense team ( who were also known as the dream team) portrayed Simpson as a loving, caring, family man. A witness for the prosecution said he sold O.J. a knife a week before that looked exactly like the murder weapon. O.J. Simpson was found as innocent due to lack of evidence. Months after his release he wrote a book called If I Did It which is a hypothetical confession about the murders. This proves that our justice system is flawed because there is no way that Simpson was innocent. If they could have gathered more evidence, he would not have been a free man.…
