The war was initiated by bombs released by the united states to strike a bunch in with the Iraqi president Saddam was located along with his leading staff. Within a few months consisting of persistent air strikes on their military and government, the united states officially compromised Iraq. This war was passed on through presidencies. George W. Bush was around when this war first began and a term later Barack H. Obama inherited it. He made it clear to his country that one of his goals during his terms would be to end this ongoing war with Iraq. Obama then deploying over 68,000 troops to continue control over Iraq, shortly after began negotiations with the united states and set a due date of December 2009 for all united states troop to leave. Unnegotiable, iraq still needed the aid of the unites states and denied the previous negotiation and set a new deployment date under the united states terms two years later.
