Speech: Today I'm here to talk about Obesity and what we should do to stop Obesity not only in adulthood but also in childhood because there is alot of obese children.

II. Body A. Main Point 1: Obesity is a Big problem it's all over the world. 1. Sub-Point 1: Obesity is all over the World a. A person is considerd Obese when his or her wieght is 50 or more pounds above thier normal wieght (Web MD). Morbid Obesity is a person wich wieghs 100 pounds over there normal wieght. b. Obesity can occur when a person consumes alot of easy meals such as fast foods and don't do exercise or be active. There are also other factors wich play a role on Obesity for example the age as u get older your body metabolizes food slower. c. Also the gender is an impotant factor in gaining wieght for example women tend to be more overwieght than men. Men tend to burn more energy at rest than women. When women have menopause they tend to gian wieght after. d. Childhood Obesity is also a big problem it has tripled in the last 20 years. Obese youthe is more likley to have risk factors for cardiovascular disease, such as high cholesterol or high blood pressure (cdc.com) 2.
Sub Point 2: Obesity and it's Health Risks a. Obesity can cut 3-10 years off of ur life according to (thatsfit.com). Adults who are obese about 40 or more pounds over a healthy wieght may be cutting 3 years of thier lives mostly from a heart disease and stroke. b. The Health risk you can have if you are Obese are heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, gallbladder disease & gallsotnes, Gout, and also breathing problems such as sleep and asthma also. c. Even if you lose 10 to 20 pounds it can bring significant health improvements such as lowering high blood pressure and cholesteral levels.
Transition: Now that we've seen the serouisness of be Obese lets look at how we can can overcome not being obese and staying in shape with good health. B. Main Point 2: There are alot of ways to solve this problem but today I'am only going to tell you two ways we can solve this problem of being Obese. 1. Subpoint 1: Healthy Eating Habits & Dieting a. One part of balancing calories is to eat foods that provide adequate nutrition and an appropiate number of calories. b. Provide plenty of vegetables,fruits, and whole grain products. Remember to health healthy and eat salads or other foods that are
healthy. c. Diet is Important if u want to lose wieght becuase how is it usefull if ur eating fast food and doing exercise your not goin to lose as much wieght as if you wer to diet and eat healthy. 2. Sub Point: Exersice & In-Shape a. Children and teens should participate in at least 1 hour of moderate intensity physical activity most days of the week , preferably daily. For example going out and walking is doing exercise running or jogging. b. Losing wieght is about burning more calories than you eat (about.com). It seems easy to do, but if it wer easy none of u swould be have a wieght problem. To lose 1 pound of fat you have to burn approximatley 3,500 calories or above. c. Maniging and staying healthy is all on you have to chabge your lifestyle by eating healthy and doin exercise every day or mostly dialy.
