Whilst he is still very concerned with his energy levels throughout the day, it does appear that he is achieving some good sleep time on CPAP therapy. We entered discussions about him seeing a sleep psychologist and I have discussed his case with Dr Frank Cahill. He was wanting to make sure that his underlying anxieties
from lpost-traumatic stress injury were under control before embarking upon any possible sleep psychology strategies. As such, I have asked Max to touch base with you to see whether or not this is optimised. If this is the case, Max will book into see Frank Cahill, but otherwise I have suggested that he focus more on the underlying anxieties than the sleep anxieties at present.
With regards to his CPAP machine, he is going to trial is for one more months and touch base with me then and at that stage we can discuss his progress and management moving forward.
