Odysseus: The Hero Of The Trojan War

Odysseus, the hero of the Trojan war, takes a long journey home to Ithaca. He thought that this trip was going to be a piece of a cake. But since he wounded Polyphemus, the son of Poseidon, Odysseus is caught up into an evil curse of Poseidon, and he goes through countless life-threatening situations. Odysseus comes across Calypso, who turns his men into pigs, and Scylla, the fearful beast. During his absence, his son Telemachus and wife Penelope had to fight against the rudeness and shamelessness of a group of suitors trying to marry Penelope and take over the estate of Odysseus. After many twists and turns, Odysseus returns to Ithaca and visits his swineherd, Eumaeus, thanks to the help of Athene. Staying there, Odysseus makes a plan to reveal
his identity to his wife and son, and to punish the suitors. Since then, Odysseus meets his son and disguises himself as a wanderer, and infiltrates into the banquet that suitors are enjoying. Despite all the disdains of suitors, Odysseus passes the test which Penelope suggested and gets rid of all the suitor who had been disrespectful to his family. At the moment of the battle between Odysseus and people who came to revenge him for killing their sons, Athene warns them as a goddess, and all they could do was to stop the fight and return. And the story ends.
