Remote Access Programs:
These programs allow you to share and sync files from any computer that is set up. Some of these are free and some you have to pay. These can be accessed through an app on a phone or through a computer. Log Mein is both a paid and a free program. GoToMyPC is a subscription-based program. Ultra NC is a free program.
Send Files Back and Forth
There are some really good programs out there the one I found that is quick and fast is Drop box. With Drop box you just place your file in this program and it is instantly available to anyone who is sharing your drop box account.
Massagers:
Most messengers now have an option to do video calling and allow multiple people in on the call. They also allow you to share files through just one app. The following apps all have this option: Skype, ail, iChat and yahoo.
Solution:
I am advising Ms. Davidson to have each of her employees to install drop box and Skype on to their laptops and IPhones. This option seems like the best and easiest route to go.
Most of the salespeople for Old Reliable Life Insurance are visiting customers in their homes or offices. Today, the salespeople carry a laptop computer to show value projections and cash flow summaries for various policies. Many of them also carry a PDA for appointments and a mobile phone. Julie would like to ensure that salespeople have access to the home office server computers while they are making their sales presentations to customers. In order to do this I have prepared three of the best options, to be reviewed, that I believe would benefit the customer as well as the salesperson.
