When Olga gave a birth to her first son, the asthmatic son, she didn’t know what to do. She panicked because the inflaming, wheezing, constriction of asthma can cause serious problem even death. She did not want that, so she was willingly to do anything for her first son. One day, Olga wanted to buy herself a new purple and green dress and shoes to match, because she wasn’t affluent, she and didn’t have many new things. She realized that she had to pay for her son’s medicine. She could have just brought the clothes, but no. As much as she wanted the new stylish attire, she loved her first born more. The money went to his medicine to decrease his chances of more respiratory problems. Otherwise, the older brother had another health issue that he had bad cavities. He would pout or throw a fit, like a fish out of water. He would he would cry and scream like in a scary movie when he was experiencing pain. This is when Supermom comes to the rescue. She gave the right medicine. (It’s like she had her own nurse’s certification. She would always know the exact dosage and kind of medicine to give.) Her asthmatic son is now free from having those horrible asthma attacks and is living a better life due to the fast actions and abilities of his Supermom. He got everything he wanted, and asthma free life, to play sports and have a normal life, with Supermom cheering him on to victory. If it wasn’t for his mother, he wouldn’t have a satisfied life filled with happiness, going to university, and dating an exquisite girlfriend.
Furthermore, she gave birth to her second son which was hearing impaired.
She was really upset and denied my hearing loss. At two years of age, she tried to get his attention, but there was no response. She decided to take me to an audiologist. She was so worried couldn’t comprehend what she would do. When her impaired hearing son was five years old, Olga decided to take him to be tested for a new brand of hear-aids so that he could hear. She had tried to advance his speech, but she was powerless. If she didn’t have the expertise and training, she would find those who specialized in speech therapy. Supermom decided to transport her son to speech therapy which was on the other side of the city. She did not mind commuting rain or shine, two days a week because it was assisting her son. It required seven years of “Bah, Bah, Bah” or “Moo, Moo, Moo,” and multi syllabic repetition for him to improve his speech. At thirteen, there was information and statistics given to them about a new procedure called a cochlear implant. He was insistent and he wanted it. There was one barrier. It was so expensive. Supermom struggled by pinching pennies, and scrimping in every area of the household finances, because her son desired to access audio reception in his weak ear. She found a solution through her miserly ways. She was able to purchase the cochlear device and have the delicate surgery to implant it. Now, he is an outstanding academic student at Odessa High School, because his hearing …show more content…
has improve to a mild hearing loss. If it wasn’t for this Supermom’s help, then he would be profoundly deaf and not be a productive part of society.
Moreover, lastly, she gave a birth to her third son which had a mental condition that disorders that impair control of movement due to damage to the developing brain.
It is the result of the brain damage during brain development a child's muscle control, muscle coordination, muscle tone, reflex, posture and balance can be affected. So, Supermom was even more shocked because it was another challenge in her life. She overthinks every day and night, not imagining how her third son cannot able to walk. So, she thought of a physical therapist for him so he can be able to walk. Supermom had to change his diapers and he couldn’t use underwear when he was nine years old. My mom struggled and her body hurts so much due to the fact that she had to change him every morning for school. He would always look so handsome, all dapper up, and she also changes him in the night too, into his pajamas. Every night, his mother would help him how to write and read too. He is still in a process how to read and write. At the age of ten years old, he was able to start walking and that brought the Supermom tears. Her miracle was coming true. She believe herself that he was able to walk. And now, he is attending Permian High school, preparing to become a young and fine gentlemen that his supermom raised
him. Overall, this demonstrated not that many mothers would put their son/daughter in front first. It would be most mothers would be either choose anything beside their own daughter/son, like for example, Olga had three challenge and she was able to process and go through with the flow. Similarly, when a product is brought, it includes with an instruction but if you see and think that way, if a person gives to a birth. Guess what, it does not come with an instruction. It was all Olga superpower abilities with her brain and having the power to raise three health condition son which is ten time harder than just simplify raise a normal child. People would ask Olga, “why do you have three sons that has health condition?” She simplifies answer by really smooth, “I didn’t ask God why I deserve those, I was very happy what I got and I’m blessed to have three amazing gentlemen knowing that they can do what they can to accomplish in life.” The middle son that had hearing loss got speechless, and knowing that he was lucky enough to have such a heroic supermom in his life.
