Introduction
Social media is used to connect to other people, search through web and as an instrument of entertainment. Aside from these, the most important feature of social media is to use it as a business, they called it online business. Online business is often assumed by internet marketers that all business is done online by using internet as a medium for marketing products and services. People engage in this kind of business because it is convenient to use and a way for earning money easily. This term paper aims to know about the nature of online business. Particularly, it needs to answer the following question: What is online business? What are the benefits and advantages of online business? What are the risks and disadvantage of online business? This term paper aims to know the benefits of online business to the consumer and ontrepreneur (Online Entrepreneur). The study served as; a tool for the researchers to explore the relationship between ontrepreneur and online shoppers, ontrepreneur will know how to start and operate an online business. For online shoppers, they will know the advantages and disadvantages of online business. The purpose of this thesis is to critically examine the impact of internet on business with the particular emphasis on a business situation. The objectives of this study are: to expand our knowledge about online business, to know what are the benefits of online business to ontrepreneurs and online shoppers, to avoid frauds and risks in the part of consumer. Descriptive research design was used in this term paper, this design tries to describe present condition, and system based on the usefulness of internet connection in online business.
Definition of Key Terms
Online is connected to, served by, or available through a system and especially a computer or telecommunication system.
Business, a usually commercial or mercantile activity engaged in as a means of livelihood.
