Introduction:
We all know that it is time consuming doing things manually especially when looking for a job. It is a waste of time and money going to different places just to find a suitable job for yourself and sometimes even though the job is not suitable you just get it. So the main focus of the study is on how to improve the job recruitment system using internet as the medium.
The issues in finding a job have changed over the years almost as much as the information technology itself. In the early years, finding a job is difficult were an applicant should look first in the newspapers or fliers just to know if there is a job vacancy. This is the main issue of the job system that it is not improving in terms of its technology. The job system is still in the point that the applicant needs to process all the requirements needed for that job. If the applicant completed the requirements needed that’s the time to go in the company to past all of the requirements and the interview. But sometimes after all the things you’ve done you will not get the job.
For the employer the main problem for them is advertising their job vacancy so that the people will know about it. Advertising in news papers, televesions, radio and fliers involve a lot of money. Time is also one of their problem in terms of interviewing not qualified applicant.
This paper will provide an illustration on how the internet will be used in terms of finding a job and on how it works to lessen different transactions needed just to apply a job. Next will be the advantages and the disadvantages of online job searching system. Moreover, an evaluation of the long-term impact of online system for job searching will be discussed.
Background of the Study:
Recruiting in the 20th Century worked well enough for its environment. Job-seekers replied to ads they saw in the local newspaper, which were placed by companies looking to hire, sometimes with the
