Online Self-Assessment And The Seven Habits Profile
After completing the online self-assessment and the Seven Habits profile I got to reflect on what I learned, beliefs, and make connections. I got the chance to learn things about myself that I may have not fully realized till after I took these quizzes.

For my family members, a concrete immediate change in my life would be keeping in touch with them more. Family is so important but with school, I am finding myself focused on other things. This would also be my long-term goal because as I get older I will be getting busier, this is important as they are an important aspect of my life.
For my peers, a concrete immediate change in my life would be, respecting what they say rather than judging them right off the bat from what I see. A long-term goal would be thinking before I speak to my peers because sometimes I say what I’m thinking rather than being respectful and not hurting their feelings. For society, a concrete immediate change in my life would be looking into what opportunities I can get involved to help others. A long-term goal would be following through with getting myself involved in the community.

Without a high number in these areas, I could see myself struggling in the future. A concrete immediate change in my life would be talking more positively towards others when they are not around. A long-term change I could make in my life would be keeping commitments and promises towards others. Keeping commitments could benefit me in the long

A really big change in my life was definitely moving from Poland to America. I moved here when I was 16 years old, and it made a really big change for me, because I came to the different country, by myself, without anybody who I knew, and I started completely different life. I was by myself. At first it was hard for me, because I missed my family, and being taken care of. But then I realized that there is nobody who will take care of me, and I should never expect anyone to. I understood that my home is where I am. Also, my big passion since I was little was art. In kindergarten, elementary and middle school I took part in many theatre competition, later on I started participating painting and drawing contest. Last year I decided to focus on physics and become a scientist. I never liked math and physics before, but I just recently I found it interesting, so I make a decision to be good at it. Now, I’m putting a lot of effort on archiving that goal.…

This was a really eye opening experience. The inventory got me thinking about many different aspects and how I learn and approach different problems and situations. The implication is that the different selfs (physical, emotional, social, critical, creative, and passionate) affect how you learn. In some situations you might be more confident in yourself than others. However, after you complete the self profile it is not really well defined about what the term survival, maintenance, and enhancement means. I can deduce that the survival means that I am just getting by, the maintence means I am trying but have to work at it, and enhancement means that I have mostly mastered that portion of myself. This would open up a discussion with the support team as to what your strengths and weaknesses are. I know for myself by thinking about the questions, it made more aware and as I go into a situation, I might think differently about how I approach the…

Our team discovered many things as a result of evaluating these assessments. Some team members found it interesting that it helped them look at themselves as an employee and see what obstacles their manager might have to face or what to look for when owning their own company. While others enjoyed learning how to get to know about an individual’s personality and how to get the most out of adapting it to everyone resulting in more productivity. There was also a realization if they had the opportunity to become a manager, how they could deal with ‘hard’ employees and make sure the ‘real’ work gets done.…

The beginning of my freshman year in high school changed my life. I had set many types of goals for myself this year including making friends, helping others and being a part of the most incredible organization, Blue Guards. Blue Guards is apart of the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps at Oxon Hill High School. Blue Guards was not only a drill team, it was a family, a family of girls and boys working together, leading others, having discipline, and respecting each other as a team. Walking into the first day of school knowing I was going to be part of this team made me light up like a light bulb.…

As a high school senior I would see my life going a whole lot different than it is now. I was the honor student, the one that took the advanced placement classes, one to be proud of. My plan was to go straight to college right after high school, but unfortunately that is not how things turned out. Now six years later, married, and with two wonderful little girls I have decided that there should be no more waiting. I want my kids to grow up being proud of their mom. I want them to see that no matter what life brings you can always work towards your goal and make things happen. My girls are my number one inspiration.…

The first part of self assessing me was pretty important because it was a sum of my whole lifestyle in one. Giving me an overall look on what I should change or if I should even change any of my habits. My smoking score was a perfect 10, which was not surprising at all to me. My alcohol/drug score for this was seven points because I do drink. The score for my eating and exercising habits were perfect because I do a good job when it comes to eating right and working out on a daily. My stress control score was an eight, but I do understand why. I do know that I stress to some extent. My last score was safety and the score for that was a nine. I think my life is pretty amazing if you ask me.…
