To start Romeo and Juliet completely rushed into getting married. They just met each other and they were already kissing, holding hands, and saying that they loved one another. They barely spent five minutes talking to each other and Romeo “proposed”. He rushed into it and that was his first mistake. Because of that the theme of Romeo and Juliet should be, without a doubt, take one’s time, think things over and do not rush into things too quickly. This theme is advertised by not just the characters and situations mentioned, Romeo, Romeo and Juliet, and Romeo, Tybalt, and Mercutio, but by a lot of the characters in the story. If anyone of the characters would have thought things over, maybe things could have ended up differently. Who knows? Maybe the story of Romeo and Juliet would have been the most romantic love story every instead of the most tragic and death filled story
