OPRAH’S SUCCESSFUL STORY
Oprah Winfrey, as you know her all of you, is an American media proprietor,producer and philanthropist. She is best known in her show The Oprah Winfrey Show which was the highest rated program. She is the Queen of all Media, she has been racked the richest African American of the 20 th century and currently she is the North America ’s only black billionaire. And of course she is the most influential and inspirational woman in the world, that’s why she is my source of inspiration.
Oprah is the woman that came from nothing to rise up to be the most powerful woman,she has talent,she has credibility and she has a loyal following and most importantly she has done all of this on her own to become fabulously powerful and wealthy.
She had a very tough childhood,she used to live in rural poverty,she was molested by her family members,by her cousin,uncle and a family friend and after suffering years of abuse,she ran away from home and moved to live with her father Vernon. But with courage,ambition and patience she was able to exceed all her problems and finish her studies thanks to her father who encourages her a lot.
In 1986, The Oprah Winfrey Show was broadcast nationally, and quickly became the number one talk show in national syndication. In 1987, its first year of eligibility, the show received three Daytime Emmy Awards in the categories of Outstanding Host, Outstanding Talk/Service Program and Outstanding Direction. The following year, the show received its second consecutive Emmy as Outstanding Talk/Service Program, and Oprah herself received the International Radio and Television Society's "Broadcaster of the Year" Award. She was the youngest person ever to receive the honor.
The secret behind Oprah’s success is that she comes from compassion and wiliness to understand and being understood. She thinks that each person should have a connexion with people he works with and put himself in the others shoes, and he should also believe in
