1. What factors do you think attributed to Suraj bhai’s success? Was he merely in the right place at the right time’’, or are there characteristics about him that contribute to his success?
Ans: An entrepreneur is an individual who owns affirm, business, or venture, and is responsible for its development.
Entrepreneurship is the practice of starting anew business or reviving an existing business, in order to capitalize on new found opportunities.
The factors that contributed to Suraj bhai’s success are his personal values like
a) Suraj being an entrepreneur and an optimistic individual.
b) Hardworking: He had determination to work hardworking at a local jewelry store, Suraj gained knowledge of diamonds and used that information to open his own business acting as a connection point between buyers and sellers over the internet.
c) Self Belief: These are established perception about the attitude object. What you believe to be true.
d) Intention to learn: Suraj bhai has intention to keep on learning. This was the biggest factor in his success. He worked hard for receiving his Diamond & Diamond grading certification from Gemological Institute. He also learned English Language to overcome communication hurdles.
e) Clarity in goal: Suraj Bhai’s goal was very clear.
f) Along with all the characteristics Suraj possesses, Suraj was also in the right place at the right time. A girlfriend of Suraj roommate suggested that Suraj go to work at a local jewelry store. This is where Suraj`s knowledge of diamonds started and since Suraj (according to individuals who know him) is ambitious and never gives up on anything, Suraj was able to follow his dream and work harder at achieving it.
