1.1 Describe different ways of organising data that has been researched.
Data is a group of information that are used for various purposes like analysis, evaluations and to arrive at certain results or conclusions. Data reporting is a process where data is extracted form a source or many sources and then converted into a format that can be used for a purpose. Data can be organised chronologically, for value/size, simple to complex etc.
1.2 Describe different ways of reporting data.
I could report data in many ways for example it can be shown in a spread sheet, bar chart, list etc. When delivering the data to other members of staff it can be done verbally or I could sit down with them and tell them in a meeting or it can be sent via email. I do this in my work when I send a mailing list to the director of the company of all the mail that has been received that day via email.
1.3 Describe the purpose of presenting data to the agreed format and timescale.
The data has to be presented to an agreed format and timescale so that the person who is expecting it gets it in the way they needed it like a spread sheet as they may not be able to see another type of document. When I send a spread sheet of the mailing list I have to proofread it to make sure there are no mistakes and it has to be sent before 5pm everyday so it can be looked at before the work day is over.
